This photo was taken on the Chapel verandah during the last weeks of Year 12, in 1995, the Centenary Year.

This was our chosen spot for lunch and recess as there was a good chance you would get some sun to relax in, kick back and share a laugh.

Looking at this photo, I am struck by the fact that several of the girls there are still some of my closest friends. I didn’t know then that I was forging incredible bonds and feel so privileged to have been able to do this at SCEGGS. These really are friendships that last a lifetime.
