Aimee BOCK (2011)

My favourite SCEGGS memory would have to be the darkroom photography classes which I commenced in Year 9 as a co-curricular activity under the guidance of Ian Leaver. Ian’s passion for photography shone through as he taught us how to capture our view of the world. I fell in love with the art of traditional black and white film photography, from the intricacies of operating a camera, to developing and printing my own images in the SCEGGS darkroom. Photography ignited my creativity and will always be a much-treasured hobby which I continue to explore.
