“From the time I first came to the school, nearly twenty-five years ago, on its opening, my hope and dream was that we should have a Chapel of our own.”
Miss Edith Badham, 1919

The former Deputy Head, Mrs Anne Titterton, always described the Chapel as the ‘heart of the School’, fulfilling Miss Badham’s hopes of what a Chapel would mean to SCEGGS.

As our Chaplain, Rev. Garry Lee-Lindsay, says, “Chapel, religious education and community service are the manifestations of our Christian foundations. They help guide the values we want for our children, our community and beyond.”
