“In the September holidays of 1933 we took our first trip to the snow, and after that it became a yearly event. Skiing was almost considered one of the recognised School sports and the Preliminary Test Badge appeared on quite a number of blazers, Belinda and Phillipa Street, Ruth Cox, Dot Hackney and Margaret Dovey being some of our most prominent enthusiasts.”
